I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and earned my Master’s degree from Cornell University. I am now a PhD student in the Experimental Medicine program at the University of British Columbia in Dr.Turvey’s Lab. My current research centers on metagenomic data and the developing gut microbiome, with a particular focus on how microbial composition and function influence clinical outcomes in children. I am especially interested in understanding how early-life microbiome disruptions contribute to inflammatory diseases and how microbial signatures can be used to predict or modify disease risk.
